Professor Meyer currently works as a senior researcher at the University of Zürich. Professor Meyer’s research endeavors have been focused on the neurocognition of hearing and speech. We would like to invite you to the upcoming lecture of the Medicine as a Science cycle. This time, we are pleased to welcome Miroslav Gasparek, MEng, ACGI. Miroslav is a Ph.D. student of Engineering Science at the University of Oxford. His research is focused on the mathematical and computational design and analysis of complex genetic circuits and microbial communities using methods of control theory and machine learning. Miroslav will focus on the Therapeutic and Diagnostic Applications of Synthetic Biology. We are looking forward to meeting you on MS Teams, at 6 P.M. on May 4, 2021. Due to the current situation, part of this year's conference is planned online and part in full-time form. Traditionally, it will consist of lecture and poster sections. To improve the conditions of the COVID-19 pandemic, the presentation of lectures will take place in full-time form on the premises of the faculty. If this won't be possible, it will take place online. The presentation of the posters will take place online in the form of pre-recorded videos, which will then be placed in the SRC 2021 application.

Dr. Erickson is a professor of radiology at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minnesota. His research is focused on the extraction of information from medical images using computer technologies for diagnostic, prognostic and therapeutic purposes.
