Significant events of the faculty

MUDr. Martin Krbec represented the University Alliance 4EU+ at the Erasmus+ BIP

On May 7th 2024 and between May 20th and 25th 2024 , MUDr Martin Krbec PhD, from the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine 3FM CU and UHKV, represented the university Alliance 4EU+ Erasmus+ BIP Sparking International Collaboration – Sharing Best Practices from the European Universities Alliances. The event was held by Tallinn Technical University (TalTech) in collaboration with Czech Technical University in Prague and Technical University of Munich, members of the EuroTeQ university alliance.

The conference was run in BIP format (Blended Intensive Programme) – a modern communication framework combining elements of virtual and physical mobility. Apart from the numerous representatives of the 15 European universities (12 alliances) taking part, one could also find more than 20 foreign guests.

The main topics at the conference were the alliances´ advocacy for internationalization, students´ and staff mobility, effective marketing, fundraising, and implementation of new teaching methods, with focus on partially and fully digitalized tools. The novel format has attracted an impressive number of attendants and brought about some fruitful debates and propositions.
