Student Research Conference 2023

On Tuesday 23.5. the jubilee 15th student reaserch conference of the 3rd Faculty of Medicine will take place on the premises of the faculty. You can look forward to 76 scientific contributions, of which 18 are clinical, 15 theoretical, 30 postgraduate and 11 undergraduate. Each section is traditionally divided into oral presentations and posters.

We will start the conference at 9:20 a.m. in Syllaba lecture hall and will be followed by a lecture by newly qualified  doc. MUDr. Moniky Klírové, Ph.D from NÚDZ on the topic "Non-invasive brain stimulation in psychiatry". At 1:45 p.m. we will welcome the guest of honor MUDr. Petra Smejkal, chief epidemiologist of the IKEM institute, with the lecture "Why are we still fighting the same problems in the healthcare sector and how can we leave this vicious circle?" It is already possible to thank the organizational team under the leadership of vice-dean prof. R. Šlamberová for the excellent preparation of the conference.

In addition to the main program, a rich accompanying program is prepared for all conference visitors, such as surgical and laparoscopic suturing training, virtual reality or CPR training. In the electronic application svk.trimed.cz, you will be able to ask questions, but also vote in the Audience Award poll.

Conference organization

The Student Research Conference of the Third Faculty of Medicine, Charles University will take place on Tuesday, May 23, 2023. Traditionally, it will consist of lecture and poster sections. An independent expert commission will decide on the division of contributions into sections.

The system for inserting abstracts will open on February 1, 2023 on the SRC website (svk.lf3.cuni.cz). In order to be able to divide the contributions into individual sections, no contributions will be accepted after the deadline for the submission of the abstract, which is set for March 26, 2023.

Whoever does not submit the abstract by this deadline, will not be allowed to participate in SRC 2021 and will therefore not receive credit for enrolled SVA!
