Third stay of our students and teachers in Itibo Hospital in Kenya
Sunday, March 5th was the first day of the already third stay of our students and teachers in Itibo Hospital in Kenya, Africa. This small village hospital managed by ADRA and led by Dr. Ales Barta (Emergency Nurse from Hradec Kralove) is providing free medical and surgical care to adults and children from the region. Our group is led by Dr. Barbora Jagerska (Dept. of Anaesthesia and Resuscitation), Dr Matej Patzelt (Dept. of Plastic Surgery and Dept. of Anatomy) and formed by our students: Kateřina Šubrtová, Lenka Jelínková, Karolína Nováková, Tomáš Herma and Adam Derner.
Today is their first working day - I would like to express my gratitude for the help provided to patients and for representing our faculty.
