Significant events of the faculty

The first female students of the Master's degree programme Intensive Care at Erasmus at 3FM CU!

Maria Haakonsen and Anne-Karin Wegner Lønning are 2nd year students in the Master's programme Intensive Care at the Western Norway University of Applied Sciences in Bergen. The students are doing their clinical internships from October 8 to December 8, 2023 at the Department of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine 3FM CU and UHKV, they also visited the Department of Burns Medicine 3FM CU and UHKV for a short time (both of them work at the Burn Medicine Clinic at the hospital in Bergen) and also had the opportunity to shadow a nurse participating in clinical research. Maria and Anne-Karin informed the 1st year students of the Master's programme Intensive Care about the study, work and competences of the intensive care nurse in Norway and motivated them to go on the Erasmus trip. The students were mentored during the clinical placements by the mentors - Mgr. Klára Supíková and Bc. Sebastian Gut. A big thank you to them! And not only to them, the whole DAICM UHKV team was patiently and dedicated to the students!
