On Wednesday November 30th, the consortium Study in Prague hosted a ceremony and awarded several foreign students the Extraordinary Scholarship of Professor Vlcek for excellent representation and promotion of their hosting universities. The event was held at the Mayor´s residence.
The scholarship consists of 30 000 Czech crowns and is awarded to those who help develop and spread good reputation of their university during their studies, be it representing at events or through extracurricular work. Among the awardees this year was Paulo Palma from Portugal, a student of our 3rd faculty – certainly not an unknown name in our academic community. Paulo has been very active since his freshman years both locally and abroad. First-years will likely know him from the introductory week. Others will remember him as the wonderful MC at our annual ball. Thank you and congratulations, Paulo!
