The Carolinum once again experienced the new professors appointment decree ceremony. Fourteen of them were nominated by the Scientific Board of Charles University and three of them from the Third Faculty of Medicine: the plastic surgeon A. Sukop, the cardiologist P. Toušek and the analytical chemist P. Tůma found themselves on the top of the scientific-educational Olympus.
