Gut microbiota in health and disease

prof. Harry Sokol, MD, PhDWe are pleased to invite you to the first lecture of the summer semester in this year’s Medicine as a Science cycle. Our speaker will be gastroenterologist prof. Harry Sokol, MD, PhD, who is an internationally acclaimed expert in Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) and in gut microbiota fields.

Prof. Sokol works at the St. Antoine Hospital in Paris and he is also a co-director of the Microbiota, Gut, and Inflammation team at Sorbonne University.

The topic of prof. Sokol’s lecture will be: Gut microbiota in health and disease.

• The lecture will happen online at MS Teams on Thursday, February 23rd, 2023 at 4 pm.

• The lecture will be held in English and will also be recorded.

• This lecture is funded by the Department of International and Public Relations of the 3FM CU.
