prof. Marko Noč, MD, PhDPlease accept our invitation to the first lecture of this year’s Medicine as a Science cycle. Professor Marko Noc, MD, Ph.D. has accepted our invitation as the first speaker on the Medicine as a Science cycle. Professor Noc is specialized in interventional cardiology and acute cardiac care, and his research focuses on the interventional aspects of acute coronary syndromes, cardiac arrest, and cardiogenic shock. He has authored and co-authored more than 150 peer-reviewed articles, as well as multiple book chapters in international textbooks. Among multiple other awards, in 2022, he was awarded the Order of Merit by the president of Slovenia, for his achievements in the field of medicine.
In his lecture, prof. Noc will talk about his path through the clinical field, research work, their interconnected nature, and the implications of this relationship for medical students and young doctors.
The lecture will be held in English, in Jonas’ lecture hall at the Third Faculty of Medicine, on Thursday, October 13th, 2022, at 5:00 PM.
