Elections to the AS UK – Academic Senate of Charles University (the so-called "Grand Senate") are going to take place on 21 November and 22 November. The elections will take place electronically. You will not only elect electronically, but also nominate candidates the same way. As of today (November 1, 2023 9:00 a.m.), our elections application is open and you can nominate candidates for the Grand Senate. Your candidate proposals can be entered at the following link:

According to the Election Rules of the AS CU, the phase of nominating candidates will close 7 days before the first election day (in our case, November 13, 2023 at 9.00). The proposed candidates will then receive an automatically generated e-mail with the electronic option of accepting or rejecting the candidacy. Not later than two days before the elections, a list of candidates who have accepted their candidacy will be published and the election will take place at the above link, each person can choose 2 candidates.
November 1, 2023, Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. – nomination of candidates
November 13, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. termination of candidate nominations
November 17, 2023 9:00 a.m. - publication of the list of candidates
November 21, 2023 9:00 a.m. to November 22, 2023 3:00 p.m. - elections
