Can We Halve the Burden of CVD in a Generation?

We would like to invite you to the last lecture in the winter semester of the project Medicine as a science.

This time you can look forward to the world-renowned Canadian cardiologist, President of the World Heart Federation, Professor of Medicine at McMaster University Dr. Salim Yusuf, whose work has substantially influenced epidemiology, treatment and prevention of cardiovascular diseases. Professor Salim Yusuf established and is a director of the Population Health Research Institute. He was several times awarded for his large-scale clinical trials and in 2014 he was inducted into the Canadian Medical Hall of Fame.

The title of his lecture is "Can we halve the burden of CVD in a generation?" We´re looking forward to you on Monday 15. January, at 5:30 p.m. in the Syllaba´s lecture hall!
