Prof. Šustková graduated from the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University in Hrad in clinical pharmacy and completed her doctoral studies at the former Research Institute f and Biochemistry in Prague. Now she works as an assistant professor and researcher at the Pharmacology, 3rd Medical Faculty of Charles University and elsewhere. She has long been i the field of substance abuse and addiction. She successfully defended her habilitation the "Ghrelin/GHS-R1A antagonism in the mechanisms of opioid and methamphetamine addiction" in medical pharmacology at the 1st Faculty of Medicine. She has completed a number of interna and internships. In neuropsychopharmacological experimental research, the department uses sophisticated models of addiction (including intravenous self-administration, in vivo micr *========================================================================================= * Selected publications *========================================================================================= Charalambous C., Havlickova T., Lapka M., Puskina N., Slamberova R., Kuchar M., Sustkova-F M.: Cannabinoid-Induced Conditioned Place Preference, Intravenous Self-Administration, and Stimulation Influenced by Ghrelin Receptor Antagonism in Rats.
