Project Narrative:

Heart – brain interactions are known long time. Recently, thanks to the new diagnostic and therapeutic methods, major progress in interdisciplinary cooperation is observed, especially in the research of ethiology, diagnosis and therapy of acute ischemic stroke. In our medical faculty a team of neurologists, cardiologists, radiologists and neurosurgeons is investigating not only stroke, but also Tako-tsubo syndrom, structural heart disease, etc.

Requirements for student applicants:

The applicants should successfully complete medical fakulty and obtain MD degree.
