Project Narrative:

You will take in part in a team studying the role of mitochondrial metabolism in the development of diseases such as diabetes, obesity, muscle atrophy or sleep apnea and in processes accompanying cellular ageing. We employ latest research technologies including a Seahorse metabolic analyzer.

Requirements for student applicants:

We expect a Master's degree in a biological, chemical or medical programme, motivation for laboratory research, curiosity, creativity, ability to think independently and work in a multi-language team and finally a desire to learn new things.
