Project Narrative:

The aim of the work will be to characterize the regulation mechanisms of sensitization with respect to the immunotoxic effects of chemical substances present in consumer products and medical devices. Using in vitro methods based on cell lines supplemented by possible studies in volunteers, options of diagnostic procedures and the epidemiological significance of the sensitization development will be evaluated. Progressive methodological procedures will be used, combinations of methods

and intervention approaches usable in preventive medicine will be proposed.

Requirements for student applicants:

The position is suitable for graduates of natural sciences and biomedicine master's fields (title M.Sc., MD.). Reliability, communicativeness, collegiality, team setting, active approach to solving the topic, strong motivation, laboratory skills, the ability of routine diagnostic work and the introduction of new procedures will be welcome. Fluent English language is necessary due to long-term international cooperation, publications in international periodicals and potential of traveling within the solution of the project goals.
