            The department is engaged in diagnostics and treatment of the full neurological spectrum o

            its specialized centres we focus on cerebrovascular diseases, multiple sclerosis, dementia
            The department provides pregradual as well as postgradual education of students and young 
            and engages in research projects including those on international level.


            The Centre for Demyelinating Diseases belongs to one of the actually biggest ones of this 
            Republic. In 2010 our department has won a statute of a regional centre of threatment of s

            providing treatment with systemic thrombolysis and mechanical recanalization. The most adv
            is offered also to patients in the Center of Alzheimer´s dementia. In 2012 a new Centre fo

            of Spasticity has been established.
