Seminar: ECIS Z Theta – New Application Potential for Scientists at the 3FM CU

Dear colleagues,

You are cordially invited to an expert seminar on the unique analytical instrument ECIS Z Theta. This device was acquired through the COOPERATIO P37 project and is now available in the Laboratory of Physiology and Pathophysiology of Adipose Tissue.

ECIS Z Theta is a state-of-the-art instrument that uses electrical impedance to enable real-time and label-free monitoring of key cellular processes inside a regular incubator. During the seminar, we will demonstrate how to effectively utilize its wide range of applications, which include:

• monitoring cell migration and chemotaxis

• tracking cell growth

• measuring the strength of various cell barriers

• analyzing cardiomyocyte pulsation

• in situ microporation of cells

The seminar will be led by an application specialist from Sven Biolabs, who will provide a detailed overview of how this tool can enhance your research.
