We would like to invite you to our freshmen orientation, which will take place from September 7^th till September 10^th 2016 in Dobronice, the three days preceeding your compulsory intensive Czech course in Prague. Everything is free of charge and the transportation is provided by our faculty.

Our programme will help you to meet your future classmates. The Czech and English friends you make, will help you in your long and challenging medical education and make the transition to living in the Czech Republic easier and much more pleasant. You will also meet your future teachers, who will explain the educational system of our faculty. Older students will be there, to share their experiences and to offer advice on how to best manage the beginning of your studies.

Apart from organizational matters, there is a sports programme prepared for you, lead by the department of physical education, as well as a course for basics first aid skills, and amusing social games. The entertainment in the evening will take place in a pub and/or around a campfire.

Accommodation is arranged in wooden cabins for two or tree people with provided beddings. Showers and toilets are in the main building. The stay includes three meals a day however there is a small store on the premises, where you can purchase beer, wine, snacks and toiletries you may have forgotten.

You will need to bring a notepad, pen or pencil, a towel and comfortable shoes and clothes for sporting activities. Dobronice is not a catwalk in Paris, so warm and comfortable clothing would be best for you. Also bring a plate or bowl, cup, and cutlery if possible. Last but most importantly, don´t forget about a positive attitude
